山並みを望む展望パビリオン Mountain View Pavilion
高原の遊歩道に沿って設ける、小さな眺望休憩施設の基本構想。 A small pavilion on a highland walkway, planned as a rest point and frame for seasonal views.

遊歩道の途中に設ける休憩施設として、眺望のフレームと風雪への応答を同時に扱う 必要があった。地形の傾斜に対して基礎の接地を最小限に抑え、木架構の屋根を軽く 持ち上げることで、滞在スペースと通過動線が同じ平面の中で自然に分かれるように している。
計画段階では、季節ごとの風向と積雪条件を整理し、屋根の勾配、開口の向き、手摺の 透過性を比較した。周辺環境に強い形態を持ち込むのではなく、歩行のリズムの延長に 小さな止まり場を差し込むことを主題としている。
Set along a mountain path, this pavilion had to frame the view while responding to wind and snow. The structure touches the slope lightly, with a timber roof lifted above the terrain so that a place to pause and the movement route can remain within the same calm field.
Seasonal wind direction, snow accumulation, roof pitch, and transparency of the handrail were compared during the study. The project aims not to impose a strong object on the landscape but to insert a measured stopping place into the rhythm of walking.
